Walchli Tauber Group Named AACN’s Advertising Representative

July 15, 2020 by Joseph Farran

Effective June 1, 2020, WTG has been named the new advertising representative for the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN), the largest specialty nursing organization in the world.

The agreement includes representation for all of AACN’s print and digital media, including its Career Center and annual conference, the National Teaching Institute and Critical Care Exposition (NTI).

AACN membership is composed predominantly of nurses who care for the most vulnerable patients and their families in diverse settings, including intensive care units, cardiac care units, progressive care units, emergency departments, transport vehicles, recovery rooms, and any health care setting where critically ill patients require care.

The association publishes three peer-reviewed print periodicals (each with digital components):

  1. American Journal of Critical Care (AJCC) –  Bimonthly scientific/research journal
  2. Critical Care Nurse (CCN) – Bimonthly clinical practice journal
  3. AACN Advanced Critical Care – Quarterly journal for advanced practice nurses, educators, and managers

The award-winning journals are a trusted source for thought-provoking perspectives on current issues and are considered the top publications to reach acute and critical care nurses. In addition to the 125,000-plus AACN members and non-member subscribers, AACN journals are carried by more than 800 academic and healthcare institutional libraries in the United States and abroad.

Advertisers can also benefit from multi-channel media strategies to maximize their reach, including the AACN CriticalCare Newsline email newsletter and other digital opportunities.

AACN’s annual conference offers additional advertising and sponsorship opportunities. As the premier event for critical care nursing, the conference regularly attracts thousands of attendees, making it the largest conference and the largest trade show specifically for acute and critical care nurses. The 2021 event is scheduled for May 24th to 27th in San Diego.
